Sealing tape for baths and washbasins are used to clean joints of various bath and washbasin types with wall tiling, in order to ensure waterproof tightness, by soft pressure surface of the profile. The tape may be used especially at spots, where it was hard to keep the right angle during brickwork phase. Even minimum rectangularity deviation may cause wall and bath edge divergence visible at first sight, which is practically impossible to refine without using the sealing tape. Another reason for using the sealing tape is the aesthetic sealing of the joint between the wall and bath or washbasin edge. Silicone sealant has to be used in any case, however an uneven layer of sealant does not have to disturb the overall visual result of the final work.
